Bring the whole family along with your caravans & camping gear for a gold detecting experience on Labour Day Weekend. This annual two day event will introduce gold panning and detector demonstrations to beginners in a natural bush setting at Hard Hill Tourist Reserve Wedderburn.
There are plenty of prospecting & gold panning competitions across the weekend, with 2 major gold detector draws & a gold nugget prize up for grabs, as well as lucky draw prizes.
The Gold Centre Token Hunt is a very popular competition for children 16 years and under. Children must be registered and are restricted to an 11 inch coil or equivalent. Major Prize Minelab Xterra Expedition pack valued at $1029
Saturday Evening – 6pm tea followed at 8pm by live entertainment and minor draws for competitors in Detector Jamboree (must be on site to win).
The sale of food and drinks will be available all weekend. No BYO alcohol. Dogs must be on a leash.
All participants must be registered & are restricted to an 11 inch coil or equivalent.
