Gold Prospecting Tours
Booking Availability:
Our gold tours are run on Friday and Saturday subject to availability.
They usually begin at 9am and finish around the 4.30pm mark.
What to bring:
The Gold Centre supply all the latest gold prospecting detectors and other equipment if needed (see prices).
Participants only need to supply their own food and drink, outdoor clothes and shoes or boots without steel caps. Participants also are required to use their own vehicles, as all locations are accessible by car.
What to expect:
The first part of the day we will show you how to prospect for gold!
This includes what to look for, how to read the ground, plants and beyond.
We will take you out to our test patch and teach you how the latest detectors are set up and used.

Lunch Break is around 1pm for 1/2 hour.
In the afternoon you will be able to go detecting with guidance of our instructor.

Day Tour (including detector hire):
$140 per person
$240 for couples
Day Tour (using your own detector)
$120 per person
Booking your tour is essential as we only take 6 people out per day.
All participants do not need a current miners right as you are covered by our tour licence.
